The Chesapeake Academy Community Network launched with open communities for teachers to post homework blogs. Private communities are available for parents, faculty, staff, board members, alumni and friends of the academy.
Parents are encouraged to use the network to find others within the community who share common interests. Students and teachers are using the social software community to share electronic documents, as well as teach and learn about blogging, multimedia, wiki and other social software, and new media tools within a private, secure environment.
