Enterprise Hive, LLC (“Enterprise Hive”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information that you provide to us. This statement explains our policies and practices regarding the use and disclosure of personal information. Enterprise Hive reviews and updates our Privacy Policy from time to time without notice.
 Please review this policy periodically to stay up to date on how Enterprise Hive collects and uses personal information. By using our web site, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information by Enterprise Hive as explained below.

We know that our users are very concerned about disclosure of data to third parties. As specified below, we do not sell nor transfer user data to third parties. We do not disclose your data to anyone without your clear expressed consent, and this would happen only in if you choose to opt-in for a specific service (e.g. requesting a partner’s research materials or registering to attend a sponsored webinar that requests your information to register).

1. Personal Information.

You have complete control over your personal information. You can visit our web site without providing us with any personal information. However, we must have your personal information to confirm your eligibility before granting you access to certain communities and groups. This information may include registration data (your name, institution affiliation or employer, address, email address, phone number, title, etc.), information request data and response data (“User Information”).

Enterprise Hive does not sell, trade or transfer User Information to third parties for any reason. However, we use a third party newsletter service called iContact, and we load our users’ email addresses into that system for distribution purposes only. iContact has a customer agreement with Enterprise Hive that ensures our customer data privacy. Enterprise Hive uses SurveyMonkey as well as other third party survey tools and we may also ask you to consider responding to appropriate surveys to support our industry research. When a third party provides services to Enterprise Hive, they are required to maintain the confidentiality of any user data that they may receive.

We may also disclose User Information in the following cases:

1. We have your consent.

2. We need to share it in order to provide you with the products and/or services you requested.

3. We respond to a court order.

4. You violate our Terms of Service.

You may choose to provide your personal information to third parties that provide content for Enterprise Hive in order to access and/or use their products and/or services. If you agree to provide such information to these third parties, then your personal information will be subject to their privacy policies.

3. Use of User Information.

User Information is retained by Enterprise Hive to verify compliance with the Terms of Service Agreement between users and Enterprise Hive where applicable.

Enterprise Hive will also use your contact information to email you. If you do not wish to receive electronic communications from Enterprise Hive, you may opt-out of our email and newsletter feeds by following the instructions in the footer of the email.

From time to time we will also request information about your needs and preferences to steer us in designing web site and newsletter content that best supports you. We will alert you regarding those expanded offerings as they become available.

Please do not submit any User Information if you are under 18 years of age.

4. Accuracy and Security.

The accuracy and security of User Information is important to Enterprise Hive. You have complete control over your user profile information and may change it at any time. You also have complete control over how much information is revealed in your profile. You may choose to reveal no information, some information or full profile information to only your contacts or to all users on Enterprise Hive.  It is completely up to you. Enterprise Hive is concerned with the security of your User Information and is committed to taking reasonable steps to protect it from unauthorized access and use. To that end, we have put in place the appropriate physical, electronic and managerial policies and procedures to secure your personal User Information.

5. Usernames and Passwords.

Access to certain content on our web site will require a username and password. In some cases, failure to provide personal information may prevent you from accessing certain Enterprise Hive groups and communities containing confidential information, products, services, or promotional offers (“Enterprise Hive offers”). By accessing and using our protected and secured web site(s), you agree to maintain the confidentiality of the username and password you selected to access such site(s) and consent to our Terms of Service. Each user must have a User Name and Password; sharing of login information is prohibited.

6. Cookies.

Enterprise Hive uses “cookies”. A cookie is a small data file that a web site can transfer to a visitor’s hard drive to keep records of the visits to that site. A cookie contains information such as your username and password that helps us recognize the pages you have visited and improve future visits by helping us understand what services are the most popular, but the only personal information a cookie can contain is the information that you provide yourself. A cookie cannot read data off your hard drive nor read cookie files created by other sites. Information stored in cookies may be encrypted, however, we do not store your credit card number in cookies.

If you prefer not to accept a cookie, you can set your web browser to warn you before accepting cookies or you can refuse all cookies by turning them off in your web browser. However, access to our secured web site(s) requires the use of “per-session cookies” in Microsoft Internet Explorer, in which you must enable only cookies that get sent back to the originating server. The Enterprise Hive web site provides links to other third party web sites. Even if the third party is affiliated with Enterprise Hive through a business partnership, Enterprise Hive is not responsible for the privacy policies or practices or the content of such external links.
